Scary Zombie Costumes Online

Zombie—the word strikes terror into the hearts of men, women, and children worldwide.  Everyone remembers a scary zombie movie from Night of the Living Dead to Thriller, Michael Jackson’s famous music video.

Who doesn’t like a good zombie costume?  On of the nice things about putting together a zombie costume is the fact that there is no ‘definitive zombie’ that you need to try to look like. There are zombies that are basically skeletons with a little flesh hanging off of them to zombies that just look a little peaked.

An old cowboy or cowgirl costume can be recycled simply by shredding it a little, rubbing it with dirt and mud, and for good measure sprinkling on some fake blood.  Actually, any old costume (or old clothing) can be transformed into a pretty scary zombie outfit.  Add a little makeup, scary mask, or latex prosthetic, and you’re ready for the night.

If, however, you want to truly scare the pants off your fellow trick-or-treaters, you should check out some of the ready-made zombie costumes available on-line. Zombie pirates, zombie doctors, zombie brides and grooms, zombie farmers, zombie Michael Jackson, skate punks, rappers, rockers, you name it, you can bet there is a zombie version. The latex and plastic body coverings showing rotting flesh and exposed skeletons are really impressive (not to mention practically impossible to make yourself). Many come with full head masks, eliminating the need to cake on the makeup.

If you are pressed for time (say 4:00 Halloween day) a zombie costume is pretty easy to throw together. If, however, you plan a little bit ahead of time, you can get a truly impressive zombie costume that will definitely turn some heads.
